SILK SCREENING DEFINED
A simplistic definition of screen printing would be using a squeegee to force ink through a stencil created on a mesh fabric onto some type of substrate such as a t-shirt. This process works well for more complicated logos, especially those with small lettering. The design is crisp and clear since it is printed like a page. A different screen must be made, set up and printed for each color in your logo, with production charges per screen. |

EMBROIDERY DEFINED
Embroidery is decorative stitching on fabric. It generally involves logo designs, but can also include lettering or monogramming. There is a digitizing fee to convert your design into a file that the embroidery machine can follow. Embroidery is durable but lines will not be as crisp and sharp as silk screening. |
